About the role
Babcock has been selected as the Metropolitan Police Serviceβs (Met Police) learning partner, working with a consortium of four London-based universities β Anglia Ruskin University, Brunel University London, University of East London and University of West London β to support the UKβs largest police service with the training of its new officer recruits from 2020.
As a Marker you will be responsible for marking student academic assessments in line with marking criteria ensuring accuracy and consistency of assessment grades across the internal delivered provision for the PEQF contract.
The academic assessments you will be marking are based around the College of Policing PEQF learning outcomes. Topics include; Nature and Purpose of the Police Service; Evidence Based Policing; Use of The Code of Ethics; National Decision Model. This role can be based fully remote anywhere in the UK
What do I need to be able to do the role?
You will need to have served as a Police officer and have a level 7 qualification as a minimum. You will also need to have knowledge of marking to assessment guides and assessment criteria or experience of working within a training environment.
We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
- Minimum Level 7 qualified.
- Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent
