The ideal candidate will have a track record of outstanding management of day-to-day operations, including project management, people management, and managing the metrics.

The nature of our work means this person will be a motivated leader who thrives on creating and sustaining a climate of inclusion, trust, and excellence. Ultimately, the business manager will be responsible for maintaining successful daily business practices and ushering in a new era of growth.

  • Creating organic traffic campaigns to ensure the Virtual Summit maximises its reach
  • Ensuring all Virtual Summit marketing assets are aligned and consistent with our brand standards — you understand that what sets us apart isn’t just our marketing strategy but the quality of our copy, design, and user experience
  • Managing the project plan and execution for launching our new website, including overseeing the design, development, and continued optimisation of website pages
  • Overseeing the recruitment of associate coaches to deliver The Being Luminary Programme. In other words, finding, screening, shortlisting and developing an effective interview process for applicants.
  • Managing and onboarding newcomers to the company
  • Setting up new staff within our financial system and ensuring they invoice accurately and are paid in a timely fashion
  • Developing an effective, inclusive, outstanding induction and CPLD programme
  • Oversee the work of contractors, including our podcast producer, graphic designers, accounting contractors and so forth.
  • Managing succession planning of staff and developing staffing models as the company grows
  • Assisting with the performance management and review process
  • Owning and managing customer relationships from the point of sale through successful implementation.
  • Developing measurements to help understand the impact of successful implementation, ensuring that each piece of the journey meets customer expectations.
  • Responding to customer emails, chats, and calls regarding implementation.
  • Completing video and phone calls to ensure customers are supported during onboarding.
  • Processing payments, updating financial records, and managing invoices.
  • Providing data analytics of sales, marketing strategies, and programmes to the CEO and using these to create and maintain a rolling three-month plan for forecasting, targeting, and attaining sales
  • Participating in the development of competitor analyses and pricing strategy
  • Becoming a Being Luminary expert and discussing or educating on any nuance of the product internally and externally.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, management, or 2+ years experience in the world of digital marketing, launches, and project management

  • Proven experience and success in developing business strategy
  • Strong ability to manage financial and budgetary processes
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development
  • A love of numbers and data and the ability to translate those metrics into tangible, analytic actions we can take to improve our results

  • Detail-oriented and maintain high standards when it comes to quality
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead
  • Professional, coachable, and happy doing high-level projects as well as mundane tasks (there will be a mix of both!)
