Being A Food & Beverage Assistant at Campanile Hotel Glasgow
Working at Campanile hotels means working in a small but happy and tight-knit team. We work together to ensure our guests feel at home and most importantly, enjoy their stay with us. You’ll be a natural team player and be able to see the bigger picture in an environment where there is always something happening. The main focus of a Food and Beverage team member is to greet customers and check they are enjoying their experience, as well as manage customer complaints. Guests need to feel engaged, making sure their expectations have not just been met but also exceeded. Whether it’s a quick breakfast or a full evening meal, our staff will go above and beyond for our diners, ensuring guests always look forward to a return visit.
As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be involved in duties such as:
- Participate in the organisation of department for service
- Clean restaurant (furniture & floor)
- Prepare the table settings
- Prepare the back of house
- Prepare the meeting room & coffee break
- Welcome the guest. Take the food and drink order. Service of the food and drink. Ensure guest satisfaction. Clean the table away
- Participate in the after-service cleaning. Clean the guest crockery, clean the washing & restaurant area, clean the bar area, clean crockery for guest usage
Knowledge and Skills required:
Training
- Prior hospitality training
Experience
- Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the hospitality industry
Expertise

- Basic food hygiene HACCP
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Knowledge of service practices
- Ability to understand & follow guidelines
