Position Overview & Specifications
- Ensure your site/s are safe, secure and compliant to include all routine tests such as weekly fire alarm test, panic alarm tests, 6 monthly evacuation drills, health and safety audits, accident reporting and desk occupancy audits as required
- Produce and maintain all office signage as per the guidance notes and templates available
- Manage Fire Wardens, Fire Marshals and First aiders to ensure adequate cover within site/s
- Complete building checks as agreed and resolve issues to a satisfactory completion
- Maintain site log books for your site/s where applicable
- Maintain information on the shared drive to include: Building summary documents, compliance tracker, H&S checklists, building checklists and any relevant information
- Ensuring effective facilitation and co-ordination of third party contractors on sites
- Responsible for managing staff, contractor and visitor access control permissions to ensure full compliance, including; production and supply of staff ID passes, suspending access and destroying or recycling returned passes as required
- Excellent IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of video conference and audio visual equipment
- An analytical and methodical approach with a keen eye for detail; excellent literacy and numeracy
- Previous experience in Facilities management
