Position Overview & Specifications
Hi! At Community Living and Support Services Ltd we are looking to expand our team.
We provide support to adults aged 18-65 years old who have learning disabilities and or mental health needs, who live in their own homes around the Birmingham/ Solihull area, with most our units in Acocks Green.
A brief summary of the tasks involved will include:-
Supporting service users to maintain the cleanliness of their daily living environments, and supporting them with laundry tasks.
Providing emotional support to our service users when required.
Supporting service users to prepare their own meals, supporting service users to eat and drink at regular times following a healthy diet or prescribed meal plan, this may include help with feeding.
Supporting service users with their weekly food shopping, this will include shopping for weekly supplies of food, COSHH and any other household essentials.
Supporting service users with the safe keeping of their personal effects, budgeting and handling money, withdrawing benefits from their bank and reporting any concerns to your immediate supervisor.
You will also be able to take service users on trips and days out, so its all about having fun too!
We have positions for full time, part time and bank support workers. Full time positions require 38 hours per week including 1 sleep in, Part-time require 26 hours per week and 1 sleep-in. Pay rate is £9.60 per hour and sleep in pay rate is £29 per night.

We provide full PPE including masks, gloves, aprons, hand sanitiser. We also do regular weekly COVID PCR testing and provide current infection control government guidance and information.
