Consumer Sales - 1 Year Student Placement opportunity commencing Summer 2023

We are seeking candidates studying a commercial/analytical focused degree, to join us as a placement student and have the opportunity to take on responsibility in a specific role and deliver against business objectives providing support, analysis and insights for the commercial teams. Working primarily with the Key Accounts team, you will ensure the timely completion of retailer administration relating to product launches and new listings. The role is varied and will include daily sales and weekly stock reports and analysis of trends and opportunities, data collation, customer & brand insights and general administrative support for key customers.

Working in our redeveloped stunning canal side mill office in Slaithwaite, this is an excellent and very varied opportunity for a placement student to join us in a company that values an entrepreneurial spirit combined with agility. We are looking for self starters with a very analytical mindset; strong Excel skills are a must as you will be working with and analysing varied data sets. You will gain exposure to senior leaders within the business and develop your commercial acumen and presentation skills. Acting as a key point of contact with both internal and external stakeholders, you will need to be confident communicating with a wide variety of audiences.

Flexibility regarding travel is required as you will get involved in researching and reporting on competitor product activity instore as well as attending promotional events and shows.
