Suffolk Community Healthcare is recognised for being a caring, responsive, well led organisation and we are looking for a committed, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse with care and compassion to join our team.

We are a 20 bedded community hospital delivering high quality care in a rehabilitative setting.

In 2017 we were given the opportunity to take part in an exciting new initiative called Discharge to Assess. Our role is providing rehabilitation and reablement to patients both from the acute and home, to assess their needs and aim to discharge back to their own home within 14 days. This role is Pathway 2.

Being part of the clinical leadership gives a sense of ownership and pride in how your team performs. It is the challenges and successes that keep the role fresh and stimulating. You will have all the support you need to provide the constant high standard of care that we all strive to achieve.

You will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and will undertake patient assessment to determine patient need, plan and implement their care with a view to ensuring the highest standard of clinical care and discharge planning to meet the needs of the patient.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop. We are a progressive forward thinking Unit aiming to offer the highest standard of individualised care for our patients.

Manage the nursing team when acting as the most senior nurse on duty.
