- Frequent preparation of briefs, speaking notes, and background materials to support client-facing presentations.
- Data collection, quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, strategic advice, and thought leadership in coverage area.
- Support for the Europe Research team including project management, maintaining client relationships through regular briefings and contact, and mobilizing Eurasia Group firm-wide resources to serve client needs.
- In-depth research and writing both short analyses and longer reports, frequently briefing clients on content.
Qualifications:

- An advanced degree (master’s degree preferred) in political science, international relations, or other relevant discipline (e.g., economics).

- An in-depth knowledge of Poland, Hungary and Romania’s domestic politics and political economy; ideally also have familiarity with political and economic developments in other European countries.
- Excellent oral presentation skills in English and being comfortable presenting and defending your analysis before senior executives at some of the world’s largest companies, which includes a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-experts, are a must. Candidates will be required to take a writing test.
- Familiarity with macroeconomic and financial market concepts/issues is preferable.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
