About us:
Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.

The role:
Overall to be responsible for the organising, administering and monitoring of all sources of student finance which will include: Financial Contingency Funds, EMAs and Adult Learning Grants and Family Action Grants.

- Permanent, Part Time
- Salary - £11,621 - £12,650 pro rata
- Swansea, SA2 9EB
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively promote all sources of funding for students and develop good working relationships with students, College staff and external providers.
- Maintain and develop, as required, systems and procedures for the administration of student funding in conjunction with the Finance Department and Student Finance Wales.
- Administer all Student Funds, as and when necessary, including the FCF, ALG, and EMA funds and Family Action Grants
- Liaise with students and tutors regarding funding issues.
About you:
- Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) in a relevant field
- 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including Maths and English
- Knowledge of administration and financial systems
- Good IT skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
