Café Assistant (FT)

At Green and Fortune, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Café Attendant to join us at Central Hall in Westminster.
About us: Green and Fortune launched in 2008 and since then has established itself as an award-winning independent hospitality company operating across both retail and events. We operate in three iconic London venues including Kings Place in Kings Cross, Sea Containers on the South Bank, and Central Hall in Westminster.
Central Hall in Westminster is one of the largest conference and events venues in Central London and Green and Fortune became the new on-site caterers on the 1st of March 2020.
Hospitality runs in our blood. Whether it’s reconnecting with friends in our bar, catching up over a coffee in the Café, dinner in our restaurant, or a private party in one of our event spaces, we have committed to making each visit a unique, relaxed, and enjoyable experience that is delivered by people who care.
The Candidate:

• Being a café attendant is about more than just making a decent coffee.
• We are looking for a candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment, can go above and beyond for an outstanding experience has a clear passion for customer service, can be fun and outgoing, and has a good sense of humour and energy in their personality.
• A smile can also go a long way so it is essential when working in our café environment. It is also important to have a friendly nature, a can-do attitude, and an eye for detail.
• Although experience in hospitality is needed, there is always room for us to commit to teaching you what you don’t know.

If you know the difference between a barista and a barrister and have a bucket of personality filled with a mixture of being bubbly, eager to learn, and willing to deliver an outstanding experience, then we would love to hear from you.
The Role:

• We require the candidate to have previous experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills.
• A strong command of the English language.
• And a passion for the hospitality industry.
