Calling all Aircraft Mechanics! Weβre delighted to announce several new opportunities at our Hangar in Leeds to join Jet2.com at an exciting period of growth, working as One Team to help our all-important customers Have a lovely holiday. We are continuing to invest in our Base Maintenance facilities at Manchester and Leeds, and with a growing Fleet of Aircraft delivering a huge programme of flights and holidays, our Hangar teams are expanding, creating great opportunities to progress your career in an award-winning Airline and Tour Operator.
This position plays an important role in ensuring our aircraft are maintained to a very high standard and that delays are kept to a minimum.
The Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on all Jet2.com aircraft, ensuring tasks are carried out safely, efficiently and on time. You will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Licenced Engineers and Crew Chiefs, carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks according to CAA requirements and regulations. You will also be available at short notice for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. The Mechanic will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
The Successful Candidate:
- Will have an operational background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working on commercial aircraft.
- You will have full working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
