Who are we?
- The Data & Analytics team is a multi-disciplined team of about 70 colleagues sitting within the Insurance, Pensions & Investments Chief Operating Office.
- Our roles range from Data Governance and Management to Data Science as well as developing Business Insight using a variety of data platforms to provide the services for our business needs.
- Translating complex data into engaging visualisations and interactive dashboard to inform decisions across the IP&I landscape
- Supporting the continuous development of existing dashboards across the IP&I portfolio
- Working to ensure the delivery of dashboard solutions and the resolution of design issues and risks in a timely manner
- Educating business users how to use data visualisations throughout the decision-making process as an advocate of a data driven approach to new product development.
- Supporting a data visualisation strategy that builds advantage and development of IP&I initiatives
- You’ll have excellent skills in in storytelling, visualisation, and dashboard development (Power BI or Tableau expertise very desirable).
- You'll have strong experience gained in a data driven organisation in a business analytics, BI, or reporting function. (Experience working with People Data would be advantageous).
- You're comfortable using big data and sourcing data from strategic sources (data warehouses etc.)
- You'll also have the desire to learn new approaches, techniques and technologies and work in an agile way.
- Your CV should highlight where you have led or developed colleagues and at interview we'd be looking for evidence where you've contributed to building a data culture within a team
