Here at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC), we are inclusive and dedicated, working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel.We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Administration Officer who is committed to service delivery and improvement, to join our encouraging and dedicated team here at Mental Health Team Preston, Fulwood Barrack.
This vacancy is advertised as 37 Hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs. Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are undertaken.

Job description
As the successful candidate you will be providing a high standard of administrative support to the Mental Health Team (MHT). This will include managing clinical diaries and clinics, answering telephone queries, booking medical documents in/out, dealing with the post and sending and receiving faxes/emails.Person specification
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Liaising with stakeholder units, providing recall and statistical data when requested.
- Covering the reception duties and ensures that a high standard of administrative support is maintained to allow a safe and effective delivery of Mental Healthcare.
- Providing administrative advice on all aspects of Occupational and routine documentation ensuring the Data Protection Act and Confidentiality are adhered to.
- Reproducing medical documentation in relation to requests, ensuring written patient consent and documents have been screened by a clinician, copies must be certified true copy and should be dispatched in accordance with relevant Ministry of Defence (MOD) Policy/Guidance.
