Newcastle Vision Support is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to carry out a range of finance tasks from their office in Newcastle.
Newcastle Vision Support is a small, independent, local charity based in Newcastle who have been supporting people with visual impairments for over 155 years.
Duties will include:
- Management of accounts payable and receivable, using Sage accounting package.
- Processing of staff expenses.
- Managing banking and petty cash.
- Production of regular and ad-hoc finance reports and budgets.
- Monitoring of bank accounts and cash flow.
- Processing of pension contributions and Gift Aid claims.
Bookkeeping experience is desired however, you will be provided with some formal training in double-entry bookkeeping and training in using an accounting package (Sage).
