Position Overview & Specifications
At the heart of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s ambitious Digital Strategy is the provision of high-quality data to support intelligence-led decision making. This role is key to the delivery of this element of the strategy through the use of the latest analytical techniques that turn data into innovative, compelling and intuitive information.
As one of the senior members of our Analytics team, you will:
- analyse complex data and develop information reporting solutions
- communicate highly complex or sensitive information to managers and clinicians
- facilitate team working and collaboration within teams, departments, and across organisational boundaries
- Explore and champion advances in analytical methodologies
The post-holder must have excellent inter-personal skills – pro-actively developing strong working relationships across relevant teams and ensuring that there is excellent communication with all relevant parties
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. - To provide specialist advice and support relating to information analysis, interpretation and reporting.
- To manage, maintain and develop information and performance monitoring systems.
- To contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans.
- To take a key role in improving data quality and data integrity throughout the Trust by providing ongoing specialist training to managers and clinicians.
