Position Overview & Specifications

We offer 2 weeks supernumerary, ongoing mentoring and regular reviews. Our new starters are very well supported in our friendly and welcoming team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a s part of a dynamic nursing team delivering all aspects of care to the patients.
You will have the opportunity to develop in this specialised field as well as continuing development . There are a huge range of learning opportunities to develop new skills.
You should be committed to working effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team and have excellent communication skills.
The post is fully rotational days/nights and covers seven days a week.

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. - To implement and evaluate nursing care working as a member of the ward team under the direction of the Ward Manager.
