Would you like to work in a role focused on ensuring that patients receive excellent care?
If so, we are seeking hardworking individuals to join our friendly and diverse team as Imaging Assistants in the MRI Department at Nottingham University Hospitals.
As an Imaging Assistant, you will perform caring activities such as greeting patients, preparing them for their examinations, ensuring patients' needs and privacy and dignity are met and assisting the clinical team to deliver a professional and high standard of care.
You will work across the QMC and City campuses, with occasional work in other units on site.
You will join a large department consisting of 5 modalities; CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology. We collectively image around 400,000 patients a year and play a key role in the journey of the majority of patients who visit our Hospitals. Despite the size of the department, we are proud that there is a real sense of community within Radiology and our teams are excited to welcome new staff.
We are looking for candidates who are approachable and enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be required to deal with patients who may be anxious or unwell.
Previous healthcare experience is not essential but desirable and we will provide a full induction and training to carry out your duties.
The post will involve shift work, which will comprise of long days and weekend working.
