Technical Manager

Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Manager to lead our technical function based out of our fermentation plant in Billingham.

The Role

You will be responsible for defining, implementing and ensuring the site's compliance to quality and regulatory procedures, assuring that current business practices are continuously improving to meet business objectives.

Being the first point of contact for all technical and quality related leadership queries, we will look to you to provide both scientific and technical advice, along with support and guidance to the site operations team in various areas such as; site utilities, raw materials, fermentation, harvesting, forming and effluent treatment.

The successful applicant will have:

• Demonstrable background in a technical leadership role within the food industry

• Understanding of large-scale fermentation processes

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to prepare technical reports

• Background of working with various industry regulatory bodies

• Excellent attention to detail alongside analytical and diagnostic skills
