Position Overview & Specifications
- Have some responsibility for ENT inpatients, ward round participation and supervision of other Doctors (F2, Core Surgical trainees and ST GP trainees).
- Have responsibility for Emergency Treatment Clinic care for acute referrals.
- Have the opportunity for training in outpatients.
- Have the opportunity for assisting and training in theatre.
- Contribute to the teaching and training of junior staff and medical students.
- Have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education.
- Actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
- Attend meetings as appropriate.
- Fulfil duties of weekly timetable.
- 1 in 6 on call plus weekend working and on call
