Band 5 Radiographer (Full time - Permanent).
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is the largest specialist orthopaedic Trust in the UK with a world renowned reputation. We are seeking a highly motivated qualified and experienced radiographer to join our friendly and dedicated team. The successful candidate will be required to rotate through all our sites (Stanmore and Bolsover Street).Participation in provision of the out of hour's service is required, as is flexible working to include evening and weekend hours. The post holder will also be involved in the provision of weekdays and weekend on call duties. The Trust accommodates flexible working and part time working
There's automatic progression onto band 6 pay grade after 18 months provided competencies are met.
The X-ray department has 5 general x-ray rooms (3 at the main site in Stanmore and 2 at Bolsover Street in central London) 1 fluoroscopy unit , 4 portable ward machines, 1 O-arm unit, a DEXA scanner and 13 theatre image intensifiers.
The X-ray department opens at 08:00 and closes at 20:30 Monday to Friday and there's a reduced service on Saturdays with on- call cover during out of hours. The department is closed on Sundays.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious general radiographer to gain more experience in specialised orthopaedic imaging.
