We are the principal independent provider by volume of knee and hip operations in the United Kingdom and we also own and operate sports medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation brand, Perform. We work in partnership with c8,760 experienced consultants and our hospitals delivered tailored, personalised care to 926,500 inpatients and day case patients in 2022.
We now have an opportunity to join our Warehouse team based at our National Distribution Centre based in Worcester. This is on a full time, late shift and is a permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking of orders
- General housekeeping tasks
- Consolidating orders
- Loading of despatch transport and handling despatch containers
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Stocktaking
- Ensuring policies and procedures are carried out to meet the requirements of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- Responsible for adhering to the confidentiality of Spire Healthcare material, and complying with Spire’s information security policies and standards
Key Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing is an advantage but not essential
- Fork lift truck operators licence is desirable
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team based environment
- Some handheld scanner experience is preferred but not essential
