We at Superyachts.com are passionate about great content; from up-to-the-minute news stories to feature-length documentaries, we are always looking out for new ways to tell our story and keep our global audience of loyal users engaged.

As a small, close-knit team, we at Superyachts.com are always striving to be the best in our field. Delivering multimedia marketing solutions to the superyacht and luxury lifestyle industries, we cherish a philosophy of keeping up-to-date with the latest in digital marketing trends to consistently deliver high-quality content across a range of channels, time and again.

We are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic editorial assistant to join our growing team, bring fresh ideas to the table and assist us in our mission to create amazing content on a daily basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for creating and managing content - from crafting editorial stories and social media captions to updating the website on a daily basis. You will work within the creative team to generate fresh ideas to keep content, across all mediums, up to date. Not only is this a journalistic role, but you will also be able to develop your skills over time and graduate to producing and directing your own video shoots for clients around the world.

Speak to thousands across social media or join us on the docks of Monaco to deliver video interviews on location, this is a varied role requiring a proactive individual willing to step forward and bring new ideas to the table. From learning the ropes to eventually producing and directing your own video projects, this is a great position to springboard your career and diversify your skills across the full spectrum of content creation.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or second-jobber with at least 1 year of relevant experience who is looking to break into the exciting world of luxury editorial. We would expect any candidate to have a keen eye for detail, fit comfortably into a small team, and be an organised, self-starter.

Although we tend to work remotely, we will ask employees to come into our London shared workspaces in either Holborn or Camden for a minimum of two days a week.

Responsibilities

Attending editorial meetings and bringing new ideas to the table
Transforming ideas into authentic stories both in print and online
Organising media content
Working as part of a close team
Keeping a tight-schedule to reach deadlines
Delivering a weekly newsletter to thousands of subscribers
Taking control of quality of content company-wide
Social Media management
Writing promotional / marketing materials for the company
Updating the website with new content

The ideal candidate will have:

An advanced grasp of the English language

A relevant degree to either Marketing, English, Journalism, Publishing or Media Studies

An ambition to be the best and stay ahead of the competition

A friendly, open and creative mindset, looking to become part of a team

Keen interest in learning new skills

Strong organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines

A natural affinity with social media

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work in a team as well as independently

Good IT literacy with experience using custom content management systems

Experience in video editing is a plus but not required

Perks

We are part of a friendly, close knit and growing team who genuinely enjoy working together. Expect a vibrant organisational culture, excellent travel benefits, remote / flexible working options and great opportunities for learning and progression.

Superyachts.com is an equal-opportunity employer, and we particularly welcome applications from groups under-represented in the superyacht industry.

To apply, please include a C.V. (word or PDF format, no Indeed resumes) and cover letter. In your cover letter please reference the job specification and why your experience makes you a good fit. Please note, applicants who do not reference the job specification will not be considered. You will be required to do a short editorial test before the interview stage.
