Swissport is looking to recruit talented and enthusiastic apprentices to its UK&I fleet team at Birmingham Internatonal Airport
The apprenticeships will offer a structured career path, support with study for professional qualifications and experience in technician roles with real responsibility. The apprenticeship scheme will support the successful candidates in attaining their Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification. During this time, apprentices will complete on the job training alongside attending courses at our training provider. Responsibilities: What does a typical day look like?
- FP&A Performing basic service tasks & developing skills in removal and reconditioning of components.
- Assisting qualified Technicians as needed.
- Reporting weekly to a mentor or Workshop Supervisor regarding ongoing activities and progression.
- Maintaining the condition of inventory, tools and equipment.
- You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing GSE.
