Exam Invigilators

The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Registry Exams Team within an outstanding Sixth Form College. We are seeking a proactive individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the College.

The Role:

This role is one that can make a real difference, helping provide students with the best opportunity to achieve the qualifications they have studied so hard for. Exams are among the most important and stressful events in the life of any learner: that’s why it’s so important they are conducted in the correct way and our Invigilators are crucial to this process.

We are currently looking for additional Invigilators, employed on a casual basis, to help oversee both internal and external exams this academic year.

Joining an established team, at this outstanding college, you will support the running of exams in a highly regulated environment. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to relate to learners, and comfortable in a high-pressure environment. Your duties will include setting up examination rooms, checking attendance, observing, collecting scripts, and liaising with students and staff to resolve queries. Prior experience of invigilation and JCQ guidelines will be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.

Interviews: These will take place on an ongoing basis and before the closing date. We recommend applying as soon as possible.

Contract/Hours: Casual basis

Working Pattern: Start times will normally be 08:30 for the morning session and 13:00 for the afternoon session. Shifts will be allocated based on availability and experience. Please note sessions would be in term time only.
