Position Overview & Specifications
At UHB we are currently recruiting a Band 5 Respiratory Physiologists to work with us in the Lung Function & sleep department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, UHB. This is a busy department and therefore will suit a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual. Our department has a long history of developing top quality and award-winning physiologists and is UKAS accredited.
Applications are invited from qualified Healthcare Science Practitioners (Respiratory Science).
Applications will also be considered from suitably experienced Band 4 Associate Respiratory Physiologists or those nearing completion of the Practitioner Training Programme or Level 6 Healthcare Science apprenticeship, and may be offered subject to Annexe 21 terms and conditions.
Successful applicants will join a vibrant and industrious workforce. They will require excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work autonomously with some degree of responsibility. The successful applicant would be expected to be proficient in a number of respiratory and sleep physiology investigations, with the ability to provide accurate and detailed reports for the clinical team.
