Position Overview & Specifications
We are recruiting an IT Technician who will be a key part of the School-wide Information Services team. The team provides a friendly and efficient support service to supported institutions as well as complementing local IT resources. You would be the first point of contact for IT support in all aspects of computing and AV.
We are seeking someone with strong customer service skills and experience, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team. An understanding of a range of operating systems including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS clients is essential. You should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent understanding and skills.
This role offers you an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in IT and customer service, while contributing to the team and IT projects.
The School of Arts and Humanities consists of eight faculties and three other institutions with 650 staff members. The technicians work across the School particularly in the faculties of Modern & Medieval Languages and Linguistics, Classics, and Divinity. There will also be opportunities for you to work with other faculties and institutions.
