Position Overview & Specifications
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team-worker willing to support multiple gene therapy projects. The applicant will contribute to the production and testing of new Lentiviral vectors for therapeutic application, which will include the large-scale manufacture of purified virus batches.
This is a unique opportunity for a research scientist to contribute to the clinical development of new gene therapy products from first inception, proof-of-concept testing through to successful manufacturing. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant science subject with expertise in molecular/cell biology and relevant laboratory experience in line with the duties of the posts, as outlined in the Job Description.
