We believe Lifelong outcomes for Children are proven to be better by staying within their community networks. We believe when a child becomes looked after, we exchange one set of risks for another.

We believe with the right help at the right time, more children can live safely with their families. We’re committed to helping families overcome difficulties and giving hope that solutions can be found to stay together. We feel our relationships are the best tool we have to help.

Connect Family Services is a dynamic and responsive service that combines short term care in a children’s home with family led support, with the overall aim being to help children and young people live at home safely with their families, or transition to a more appropriate living environment.

We’re looking for Care Officers to join our team to provide a wide range of support to children and families both in the Childrens home setting and in the family home. The role of the successful applicant will be to work as part of the team to provide a safe and stimulating environment, where children are able to express their views and needs, ensuring high quality individualised care; maximising life chances for those children and young people.

We’re looking for the right people with the right commitment, skills, tenacity, imagination, and energy in order to offer the best to our children. To do this you will be offered high quality support, training, guidance, and development and be part of a motivated and ambitious team.
