Position Overview & Specifications
£12.50 per hour plus holiday pay We are looking for enthusiastic and organised people to work as part-time temporary invigilators during our busy summer exam period. You will report to the Exams Manager and the Assistant Principal, Curriculum, who will offer training and guidance before you start the role. We are looking for people who are able to work in what can be a stressful environment with a great deal of calm and empathy. The role involves distributing exam papers, dealing with candidates’ queries, supervising candidates at all times, completing and signing attendance registers and checking seating plans. Please be aware that this role will also include standing for long periods and carrying bulky exam papers to and from allocated rooms. The rate of pay will be £12.50 per hour, plus accrued annual leave based on a holiday entitlement of 5.6 weeks and the number of weeks worked. This will be calculated at the end of the contracted period of work and will be paid as a separate amount. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 21 March 2023 at NOON.
